Our Financial Analysis Approach
Built on decades of experience across Vietnamese and international markets
We don't follow trendy frameworks or recycled consulting formulas. Our methodology emerged from analyzing over 3,000 investment opportunities between 2018 and 2024, refining what actually works when capital is on the line.
Foundation Principles That Guide Us
Back in 2019, we made a commitment. Every analysis we produce would answer one question first: would we stake our own money on this?
That single filter changed everything. It meant late nights rechecking assumptions, uncomfortable conversations with clients about risks they didn't want to hear, and turning down projects that looked profitable but felt wrong.
- Evidence beats theory every time. We start with market data, not models.
- Clear language matters. If an executive can't understand our analysis in ten minutes, we failed.
- Context shapes everything. Vietnam's market dynamics differ from textbook examples.
- Long relationships over quick wins. We've worked with some clients since 2020.
How We Actually Work With Clients
Investment professionals have different needs depending on where they are. A fund manager evaluating acquisitions needs different support than an analyst building sector expertise.
Deep Dive Sessions
Three to four hour working sessions where we tear apart an investment thesis together. Uncomfortable questions included. Most valuable for complex deals or sector entries.
Ongoing Advisory
Monthly retainer arrangement where we become an extension of your team. Regular check-ins, priority access when opportunities emerge, continuous market intelligence.
Custom Research
When you need specific market intelligence that doesn't exist yet. We've mapped supply chains, interviewed competitors, and analyzed regulatory scenarios others wouldn't touch.
Meet Thaddeus Kilbride
Lead Analyst, Vietnam Market Focus
Thaddeus joined us in early 2021 after spending six years with a regional investment fund. He was tired of surface-level analysis and wanted to actually understand businesses.
He spent his first year here doing something unusual: visiting factories, talking to suppliers, attending industry conferences nobody bothered with. That groundwork gave him insights you can't get from spreadsheets.
Now he leads our manufacturing and logistics analysis. When clients need to understand operational risks or supply chain vulnerabilities in Vietnamese markets, Thaddeus is usually the first call.
Recent Client Outcomes
These aren't cherry-picked success stories. They're representative of the work we did throughout 2024.
